At Right at Home Portsmouth, our Care Assistants provide essential overnight support to help our clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own homes.

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Waking Night Care Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team.

Your role

• Providing overnight support in clients’ homes

• Monitoring wellbeing and ensuring safety throughout the night

• Supporting with personal care where required

• Assisting with mobility and repositioning

• Offering reassurance and companionship

• Responding calmly and effectively to any changes or emergencies

What we’re looking for

• A caring, patient, and dependable nature

• Ability to stay alert and attentive throughout the night

• Strong communication skills

• A calm, proactive approach

• Previous care experience is desirable, but not essential (full training provided)

🚗 Requirements

• Right to work in the UK

• Driving is not essential, however it is desirable due to the 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM shift times.
