Gabrielle Turner

Hi there, I am the Registered Manager at Right at Home Portsmouth, and I am passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care that enables people to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Originally from the Isle of Wight, I value the importance of community, kindness, and supporting people to live well in the place they call home.

My Experience

I have worked for Right at Home Portsmouth for the past 7 years, starting my journey as a Care Coordinator before progressing into the role of Registered Manager. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong understanding of the importance of compassionate care, effective communication, and building trusted relationships with both clients and their families. I have also completed my Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care, which has further strengthened my knowledge and leadership within the care sector.

I take pride in leading a dedicated team that shares my commitment to dignity, respect, and professionalism. My focus is on creating a supportive environment for both our clients and care staff, ensuring we consistently provide exceptional care tailored to each individual’s needs.

Interests and Hobbies

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors and socialising with friends. I also have a horse called Woody, who I see daily and who keeps me busy and active outside of work. At home, I have four cats — Otis, Olive, Leo, and Cleo — who are very much part of the family. I am also engaged to my partner of 9 years, James, and enjoy spending quality time with family and friends whenever I can.

Working in care is incredibly rewarding to me, and I am committed to continually improving the quality of service we provide within our local community.
